Mitsubishi HC Capital Launches Inventory Inspection Service Utilizing Hitachi Solutions East Japan's Solutions

Mitsubishi HC Capital Corporation (President and CEO: Daiki KUI; hereinafter referred to as Mitsubishi HC Capital) has launched an inventory inspection service (hereinafter referred to as "this service") for the distribution and manufacturing industries. This service visualizes, analyzes, and proposes improvements for inventory by utilizing solutions provided by Hitachi Solutions East Japan, Ltd. (President and CEO: Takeo ISHII; hereinafter referred to as Hitachi Solutions East Japan).

In recent years, the distribution and manufacturing industries have seen a growing need for more efficient and advanced inventory management due to labor shortages caused by a declining population, the "person-in-charge" nature of operations, delays in DX, as well as diversification of products and supply chain disruptions. Challenges in inventory management are no longer just operational issues but have become apparent as management challenges. In response to this situation, Mitsubishi HC Capital has launched this service to contribute to the optimization of the entire supply chain, starting with the appropriate adjustment of corporate inventory. For the provision of this service, the company utilizes "SynCAS PSI Visualizer," a production-sales-inventory (PSI) visualization and adjustment solution developed by Hitachi Solutions East Japan for the distribution and manufacturing industries, and "Forecast Pro," a demand forecasting support solution.

In this service, Mitsubishi HC Capital will take the lead in visualizing inventory status through "SynCAS PSI Visualizer" based on the customer's receiving/shipping/inventory actual and plan data. Furthermore, it will analyze and evaluate the inventory status based on demand forecasts utilizing "Forecast Pro." For inventory challenges and problematic inventory identified through analysis, improvement measures will be proposed to achieve appropriate inventory levels. By proposing a comprehensive approach that includes inventory visualization, efforts towards appropriate inventory, and financing for the entire supply chain related to these efforts, Mitsubishi HC Capital will support customers in streamlining and optimizing their inventory operations, thereby contributing to the resolution of inventory challenges and the optimization of the entire supply chain.
