Actually a Local Hiroshima Dish?! Recipe Search Rate Among the Nation's Top! Hiroshima's Beloved "Nanbanzuke"
In fact, Hiroshima Prefecture ranks among the top nationwide in terms of interest in nanbanzuke recipes. Data shows that the proportion of people searching for nanbanzuke recipes is more than three times that of Tokyo and more than twice the national average. It is deeply loved not only on family dinner tables but also appears in elementary school lunches, making it a "local dish" closely integrated into the lives of Hiroshima residents. On the other hand, data also indicates that as many as 90% of Hiroshima residents are unaware of it being a local dish.
This event will focus on nanbanzuke, a hidden local dish, and propose "Kantan Nanban" by combining student ideas with attractive local ingredients.
"Kantan Nanban" Experience Event to Rediscover the Appeal of Nanbanzuke
"Kantan Nanban" was developed with the desire to make it easy for Hiroshima residents to enjoy nanbanzuke, their favorite hidden local dish, at home. By eliminating troublesome steps, it is a new nanbanzuke that can be made in a short time with a simple 3-STEP process: "no frying, no marinating, and the taste is decided with just one bottle of Kantan Su." Participants can enjoy tasting it and discover the appeal of nanbanzuke through introductions to idea recipes created by Shudo University students who want younger generations to eat it.
Furthermore, the venue will feature an original Kantan Su label creation experience for children and a photo spot where you can take commemorative photos with Kantan Su. It is an event that the whole family can enjoy.
