Morinaga Launches Iron-Fortified Milk: 'Delicious High-Protein High-Calcium Milk with Daily Iron' Available from September 8 in Limited Regions

Morinaga Milk is launching 'Delicious High-Protein High-Calcium Milk with Daily Iron' as a new lineup in its 'Delicious Milk' series, available from Tuesday, September 8, in limited regions from Tohoku to Chugoku-Shikoku.

In recent years, growing health awareness has increased interest in protein intake. The domestic market for protein-supplement foods is projected to reach 309.6 billion yen in 2025 (up 4.4% from the previous year)※1, with rising demand for convenient nutritional products such as drinks and yogurts that can be easily incorporated into daily meals.

In this context, 'Delicious High-Protein High-Calcium Milk' has gained strong support for combining the delicious taste unique to milk with high nutritional value. Sales in the 2025 fiscal year are expected to grow more than fourfold compared to the 2020 fiscal year, when the high-protein version was first launched※2.

Additionally, iron is a nutrient commonly perceived as lacking in daily diets. Consumer demand is increasing for products that allow simultaneous intake of protein, calcium, and iron.

Therefore, Morinaga is launching 'Delicious High-Protein High-Calcium Milk with Daily Iron,' maintaining the high-protein and high-calcium formulation of the original product while adding iron.

This product allows consumers to enjoy the natural deliciousness of milk while conveniently supplementing protein, calcium, and iron—nutrients often lacking in daily diets. One serving (200ml) contains 10g of protein, 1.5 times the calcium of regular milk※3, and a full day's recommended intake of iron※4.
