MOTTERU Co., Ltd. will begin selling a 20,000mAh high-capacity mobile battery featuring a semi-solid-state battery to reduce fire risk, starting May 25.
This product uses a "semi-solid-state battery," which offers higher safety than typical lithium-ion polymer batteries, significantly lowering the risk of ignition. It features a long lifespan of over 2,000 cycles (about four times that of conventional batteries) and a heat/shock-resistant design rated for -20°C to 60°C, ensuring safe use even in cars during summer or in disaster situations.
With a large 20,000mAh capacity and up to 65W PD output, it can charge not only smartphones but also tablets and laptops like MacBooks with a single unit. It is also intended for use as a backup power source during power outages and disasters. Equipped with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, it can charge up to three devices simultaneously.
The product includes a remaining battery level indicator and a multiple protection system. It comes with a 240W USB-C silicone cable and a dedicated pouch as accessories.
Additionally, MOTTERU runs a recycling program that offers free collection of its used mobile batteries, which are then recycled at partner facilities in Japan. Participants receive a discount coupon for use at the official shop.
