Musashino University to Hold First Open Campus of the Year on June 14 (Sunday) at Musashino Campus and June 21 (Sunday) at Ariake Campus

Musashino University (Koto-ku, Tokyo / Nishitokyo-shi, Tokyo; President: Seiko Konishi) will hold an open campus on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at its Musashino Campus and on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at its Ariake Campus. The June open campus, the first of the academic year, will include university and admissions information sessions to explain Musashino University's features and the admissions process for 2027. Additionally, there will be a special program themed "General Selection is Still Possible: Three Perspectives to Elevate Your Current Self," mock classes, campus tours, and a cafeteria experience.

Student staff will welcome you on the day.

We welcome not only prospective students but also high school freshmen and sophomores. Many sessions require advance reservation, so please check the dedicated website for details. Please note that open campuses for first and second-year high school students will also be held in July, and we encourage you to attend those as well.

【About Musashino University】

Musashino University Musashino Campus

In 1924, the Musashino Women's College was established with the ideal of character education rooted in Buddhist principles. It was formerly known as Musashino Women's University and was renamed Musashino University in 2003. Since becoming co-educational in 2004, the university has promoted reforms and developed into a comprehensive university with over 14,000 students, comprising 13 faculties, 21 departments, 14 graduate schools, and a correspondence division. In 2019, it established the first Faculty of Data Science at a private university in Japan.

Musashino University Ariake Campus

In 2021, it established Japan's first Faculty of Entrepreneurship and launched "Musashino INITIAL," a common foundation curriculum for all students, making "AI Utilization" and "SDGs" compulsory subjects. In 2023, it established Japan's first Department of Sustainability. In 2024, celebrating its 100th anniversary, it opened the world's first Faculty of Well-being. In 2026, it established the Faculty of International Data Science in its correspondence division, proposing a new form of learning. The university is advancing reforms to foster creative human resources for the future towards 2050.
