Sonic the Hedgehog Only Shop, Fair & Gratte Starts June 6: SEGA x Animate Global Project

Animate Co., Ltd. and SEGA Corporation are launching the "Sonic the Hedgehog" Only Shop, Fair, and Gratte on June 6, 2026. This marks the first phase of a year-long global collaboration project featuring SEGA group IPs. The event spans over 140 Animate stores worldwide, offering game trials, merchandise sales, and cafe collaborations.

Overseas stores will host the Only Shop and fair, while Japanese stores will feature the fair and Gratte. During the fair, purchasing related merchandise grants bonus postcards. At Gratte locations, customers can buy Graphic Lattes and Icing Cookies with printed characters.

The event runs from June 6 to June 21, 2026 (fair until June 28) at international locations including Shanghai, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Taipei, Hongdae, Kuala Lumpur, and Los Angeles. Domestic stores and Bangkok will run the event from June 6 to June 28. A bonus postcard (10 types total, random) is awarded for every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on Sonic goods, or per Gratte item purchased. This event also celebrates the upcoming 35th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog on June 23, 2026.
