The manga 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End,' created by Yamada Tōko (story) and Abe Tskasa (art) and serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday (Shogakukan), is set in a world after the魔王 was defeated by a hero and their party. It follows the journey of Frieren, a millennia-old mage who fought alongside the hero, and the new people she meets along the way. The current comic series has surpassed 35 million copies in worldwide cumulative sales across 15 volumes, gaining increasing popularity. The TV anime adaptation, 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End,' aired its second season from January 16 to March 27, 2026, generating significant buzz with each episode. Now, the third season, titled 'The Golden Land Arc,' has been confirmed for broadcast starting October 2027 on Nippon TV!
