Frontier Works Inc. (Headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Masahide Tsuji; hereinafter "Frontier Works") will release the new art book 'Satoshi Urushihara Art Collection -GLOSS & SHADOW-' by illustrator, animator, character designer, and manga artist Satoshi Urushihara on Monday, September 28, 2026.
The book will feature over 130 illustrations, primarily those released from 2015 onward, including original artworks from the popular game 'Langrisser' and the magazine 'Monthly Young King'. It will also include newly drawn exclusive visuals created specifically for this publication, appealing to both long-time fans and new audiences.
Additionally, Frontier Works has announced the reissue of 'Satoshi Urushihara Cell Works', an art book originally published in 1994 that has since become a highly sought-after collector's item. This reissue will also be available in bookstores on September 28, 2026.
To commemorate the release of 'GLOSS & SHADOW' and the reissue of 'Cell Works', exhibitions will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo, and Hiroshima—the artist's birthplace. The events will include original merchandise sales and planned autograph sessions.
