Survey Overview MyVoice Com, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) conducted an online survey on 'Iron Intake' from May 1 to May 7, 2026, targeting 11,067 people.

◆ Recent Physical Condition 'Fatigue or sluggishness' was the most common symptom, reported by 39.7% of all respondents. Among those diagnosed with iron deficiency, this rate exceeded 60%. Other common complaints included 'difficulty waking up refreshed,' 'chronic stiff shoulders,' 'cold extremities,' and 'dizziness or lightheadedness.'

◆ Status of Iron Deficiency Less than 20% of respondents have been told they have an iron deficiency. Conversely, 38.3% responded that they are 'not sure or have never paid attention to it.'

◆ Iron Intake Measures 18.1% of all respondents focus on overall nutritional balance in their diet. Individuals who have been flagged for iron deficiency are more actively utilizing food and supplements.

◆ Foods Consumed Intentionally 'Vegetables such as spinach, komatsuna, and parsley' (72.3%) and 'beans/soy products' (65.4%) are the most frequently consumed iron-rich foods.

◆ Reasons for Intake 'Seems good for health' (50.2%) is the primary reason. Younger demographics tend to consume iron for beauty, while male cohorts often aim to maintain stamina for sports.
