APT Co., Ltd. Background of Partnership Establishment

Mitsubishi Corporation Techno-Systems, Ltd. is promoting the construction of a new business model in its current medium-term management plan, which goes beyond its traditional function as an equipment trading company by incorporating its own engineering capabilities to provide optimal solutions to customers.

Emerging from this strategic shift was the "Large-scale Domestic Manufacturing and Logistics Reform Project." APT was chosen as the partner for this highly challenging project, which demanded high confidentiality, advanced technical requirements, and stringent delivery and quality standards.

The two companies first met in early 2024, sparked by a business trip to Thailand. Following APT's presentation, Mitsubishi Corporation Techno-Systems was deeply impressed by APT's implementation capabilities – specifically, their approach of "selecting optimal hardware from a vendor-free standpoint and integrating everything with their proprietary software" – leading to a full-scale collaboration.

Reasons for APT's Selection as a Partner

APT was selected from among numerous solution vendors primarily for the following three reasons:

"Commitment to Execution" and On-site Implementation Capabilities: APT's extensive track record, accumulated knowledge, and ability to provide end-to-end solutions, including those involving partner companies, were highly valued.

Overwhelming Response Speed: APT provided concrete proposals at a speed significantly exceeding that of competitors in response to multiple and complex customer needs, earning direct praise from end clients.

Vendor-Free Technology Integration: The ability to optimally combine AGVs, stacker cranes, and various systems without being tied to specific manufacturers, and to propose integrated solutions involving partner companies, became a major driving force for the project.

Synergy and Future Outlook of Both Companies

The project is progressing rapidly due to the fusion of Mitsubishi Corporation Techno-Systems' customer-centric sales style and technical proposal capabilities, guided by their motto "Hybrid of Trust and Brains," with APT's development and implementation prowess, characterized by their "never-give-up" approach.

Moving forward, based on the success cases gained from this project, both companies are considering joint marketing initiatives in other segments such as automotive, medical, and food industries, and have confirmed their commitment to broadly promoting DX in manufacturing and logistics within Japan.
