Donation Ceremony Held Following Charity Auction of Player-Worn Sign Language Shirts

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins.

As part of the 'Dolphins Smile' social responsibility initiative, the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins collaborated with top official partner SSK Corporation (hummel) to produce sign language shirts to support individuals with hearing impairments. Players wore these shirts during the Dolphins' home game held on Sunday, November 2nd, and a charity auction was later held for the autographed shirts.

A portion of the profits from sales of the sign language shirts on the hummel website, along with the full proceeds from the auction of the player-worn shirts, were donated to the Aichi Prefectural Nagoya School for the Deaf.

Donation Amount: 406,165 yen

Participants: Eiji Saiki (Branch Manager, Nagoya Branch, SSK Corporation), Masaharu Maeda (Principal, Aichi Prefectural Nagoya School for the Deaf), and 3 students from the Nagoya School for the Deaf.

Comment from a student of Aichi Prefectural Nagoya School for the Deaf (Mr./Ms. Kamiko): 'Thank you very much for your generous donation and support. We were truly surprised by the extensive content of the donated items. We will cherish these gifts and ensure the students understand the warmth behind them. We will use them with great care so they can be utilized for a long time. Thank you very much for today.'

On the day the players wore the sign language shirts, a 'Sign Language Booth' operated by students from the Nagoya School for the Deaf was set up at the home game venue, where many fans participated.
