A tourist tower constructed in 1954 (Showa 29) as Japan's first consolidated radio tower. It is known as the landmark tower of the city, representing Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It is the first tower in the country to be designated as a national important cultural property, and in addition to the observation deck at 90 meters above ground, the tower is equipped with a hotel, goods shops, and restaurants. It celebrated its 70th anniversary in June 2024.
