Natural Science Corporation Invites Kindergarten Children to Factory Tour. Skincare Advisor Lectures on the Importance of Skincare for Kids

Natural Science Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which has been conducting skin research and development for 30 years, invited 18 kindergarten children, one parent, and three teachers from a Tokyo kindergarten (GG International School) to its factory and office, Natural Factory Tokyo, where a skincare advisor lectured on the condition of children's skin and the importance of skincare.

In the seminar on skin, it was explained that children's skin is drier than adults' skin, making it more susceptible to external stimuli and prone to problems such as itching. It was also explained that well-moisturized skin with a strong barrier is not dry but rather moist and plump. The children checked their own skin moisture levels and realized that their skin was dry. After moisturizing together, they checked their moisture levels again and were excited to find that their skin was indeed plump. A skincare quiz was also conducted, and the children were able to learn the importance of skincare in a fun way.

The children also toured the factory where the skincare products they applied are made, experiencing the difficulty of making beautiful products and the joy of creating things. They learned about the importance of skincare and the process of making things using all five senses.

The children said, "The factory was cool," "The quiz was fun. I learned that I need to apply cream after washing my body," "I will do my best with skincare when I get home," "I will wash my face when I wake up in the morning," and "I will apply cream to my ears, nails, and neck." The teachers were also happy to have had such a valuable experience.

In the future, we will continue to convey the importance of skincare not only for babies but also for children.
