NCN, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Ikuo Takusari) exhibited at the 'Non-Residential Wooden Construction Fair 2026,' held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, May 13 to Friday, May 15, 2026. Together with its group companies (Kikouzou Design, Inc.; KINO BIM, Inc.; and Suiho, Inc.), NCN presented its proprietary technology and framework for non-residential wooden construction.
The total number of visitors to the three-day exhibition was 12,275 people from 295 companies (as announced by the BREX Executive Committee). The NCN booth welcomed 1,359 visitors, a 21.9% increase compared to the same event last year.
NCN operated under the concept of a 'one-stop gateway for wooden construction,' receiving significant feedback. Continuing from last year, the booth design utilized structural laminated timber and hardware from the proprietary SE Method, allowing visitors to experience the strength and comfort of wooden structures.
Exhibits included NCN's track record of over 30,000 structural designs, its stable material supply chain through partner pre-cut factories, and specialized construction techniques. NCN also highlighted its 'construction network' of 637 partner companies nationwide and its matching service for large-scale wooden construction.
Regarding the latest technology, NCN showcased methods to optimize production workflows through BIM implementation consulting and DX support. Additionally, in the field of building environment design, the company highlighted its achievements in combining health and comfort through BIM-based indoor temperature and cooling/heating load visualization.
A survey of 266 construction professionals visiting the booth revealed that 'structural design' (127 points) was the most significant challenge in non-residential wooden construction, accounting for approximately 26% of the total points. This was significantly higher than 'architectural design' or 'fire-resistance design,' indicating that resolving technical issues at the early planning stages is highly prioritized by those entering the sector.
