Needswell Supports DX Promotion in Expense Settlement Operations for Letara Inc.

Needs Well Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Gen Matsuoka) is pleased to announce that it has received an order to implement SAP® Concur®, the travel and expense management cloud service provided by Concur, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takao Hashimoto; hereinafter referred to as "Concur"), and Needs Well's own accounting system integration solution, CoNeCt, to support the promotion of DX in the expense settlement operations of Letara Inc. (Head Office: Sapporo, Hokkaido; hereinafter referred to as "Letara").

1. Background

Letara Inc. is a space startup originating from Hokkaido University that develops hybrid propulsion systems for rockets and satellites, offering high thrust, safe combustion, and low cost.

Letara was considering building a system that could manage the entire process of expense settlement operations from application to approval and budget management, as well as improve efficiency and transparency in expense settlement and invoice processing.

Following an inquiry through our company's website, we made a proposal to Letara. They evaluated that the introduction of SAP Concur and CoNeCt would meet the following requirements, leading to the decision to implement them. Additionally, the fact that the person in charge had previous experience using SAP Concur also supported the decision to implement.

2. Support Details and Future Outlook

We will support the optimization of Letara's entire business process, from application to approval and accounting processing for expense settlement and invoice processing, through the implementation of ConcurR Expense, ConcurR Invoice, and our accounting system integration solution CoNeCt.

Furthermore, to ensure a smooth transition after system implementation, we will provide support for on-site operations by preparing user manuals and conducting training. We will also support stable operation and continuous business improvement through after-sales support, including handling inquiries and making setting changes.

With our know-how cultivated from implementing SAP Concur for over 170 companies and our solutions that promote operational efficiency, we will continue to support DX promotion and productivity improvement in back-office operations across a wide range of industries, and contribute to the sustainable growth of our customers.

Concur Expense

Enables digital transformation of expense settlement and remote work by integrating with various services such as mobile, corporate cards, transportation IC cards, and map information.

Concur Invoice

Automates business processes such as payment requests and approvals based on invoices, and appropriately manages payment schedules for each supplier, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of cash flow forecasting and management.

CoNeCt

Streamlines data conversion and integration between SAP Concur and accounting systems, reducing manual work and input errors.
