Netmarble Releases New Action Adventure RPG 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' Season 1 Update 'Northern Jousting Tournament: Ice and Steel'

Netmarble has implemented a game update for 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad (Game of Thrones: Kingsroad)', a new action adventure RPG for smartphones (iOS, Android) and PC based on the HBO® series 'Game of Thrones', adding Season 1 'Northern Jousting Tournament: Ice and Steel' on July 15 (Wed).

This new season, which will run for six weeks, features a competition between houses against the backdrop of an invasion of the North by the 'Ironborn'. It introduces a house competition, season progression system, new dungeons, rankings, and various rewards that can be obtained.

In Season 1 'Northern Jousting Tournament: Ice and Steel', players pledge allegiance to one of three houses: 'House Amber', 'House Hornwood', or 'House Manderly' at the start of the season and serve as the 'Oathkeeper Banner'. They compete with rival houses over a six-week event period, engaging in battles for honor and prestige.

'Season Points' earned by participating in season content are reflected in individual and house rankings. Players can aim for the top rankings throughout the season by contributing as members of their house.

In addition to this update, new 'Season Quests' and 'Relic Quests' have been added, and five major dungeons have been refreshed into Season Dungeons to match the theme of Season 1.

Furthermore, various contents such as 'Besieged Outpost', 'Northern Horseman Tournament', and Field Exploration also allow players to earn Season Points. Individual and house rankings are determined based on the points earned. Additionally, this update includes several new elements.

In addition, new relics such as 'Broken Sword', new boss 'Unicorn of the Stormy Plains' in the altar content 'Altar of Memory', Hard Mode of the same content, and expansion of the challenge content '[Season] Worm Walk' up to floor 40, and many other new elements have been added.
