Netsys Japan, a provider of total solutions for lodging facilities, is pleased to announce the integration of its automated check-in machine, 'Core Touch,' with the 'Arc LINK Room' cloud-based key issuance system provided by GOAL Co., Ltd. This integration allows for the automatic issuance of room door PIN codes via 'Core Touch' during check-in at hotels and inns, and their automatic deletion upon check-out. Amidst the current severe labor shortage and rising demand for contactless check-in and unmanned operations, this solution serves as a hotel DX tool that significantly reduces management burdens without compromising guest convenience. With this integration, when guests check in using 'Core Touch,' a PIN code for the guest room door is automatically issued via the 'Arc LINK Room' smart lock. The issued PIN code is automatically set with an expiration period corresponding to the guest's stay and is automatically invalidated (deleted) at check-out. This eliminates the need for front desk staff to hand over physical keys or manually issue/delete PIN codes, fully automating and streamlining key management from check-in to check-out. Furthermore, PIN codes are randomly generated and can be set to 4-6 digits, enabling flexible and secure key management tailored to facility policies. In conjunction with this, a new 'PIN Code Management' feature has been added to the 'Core Cast' Hotel Management System (PMS) provided by Netsys Japan. On the PMS, users can issue/delete PIN codes managed by 'Arc LINK Room' and manually set expiration periods. This allows for centralized management of smart lock operations in conjunction with reservation information and room management. Since 'Core Touch' and the PMS are constantly synchronized via the cloud, the latest status is immediately reflected regardless of which screen is operated. Additionally, operations from the PMS are recorded in the history of 'ALR Moni,' the cloud management app provided by GOAL, helping to improve key management traceability. Benefits include reduced front desk key handling, support for unmanned/low-staffed facilities, reduced security risks after check-out, and integrated management of key and reservation information. This integration helps lodging facilities digitize analog key management tasks, reducing the workload on front desk staff. It significantly contributes to labor-saving in operations, especially for facilities facing challenges such as labor shortages, multilingual support, and late-night/early-morning check-ins. By simultaneously achieving reduced staff working hours, promotion of contactless operations, and shorter guest wait times, improvements in overall facility productivity and guest satisfaction are expected. Netsys Japan will continue to strengthen collaborations with various devices and services to support operational efficiency and improved guest experiences for diverse lodging operators.
