New Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Yoshinori Takahashi), which aims to eliminate gas accidents worldwide, held its cleanup event 'Ippen, Hirotte Miru!?' on Saturday, May 23, 2026. This 9th iteration saw 10 participants, including President Takahashi, cleaning the banks of the Yodogawa River near Hankyu Juso Station. Launched in May 2022, this event is held twice a year to encourage employees and their families to engage with the social issue of marine debris. The company signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Yodogawa Ward on February 17, 2023, and this activity is part of their regional problem-solving efforts. Participants collected trash along the riverbed and surrounding roads, reflecting on environmental conservation. Yasuaki Masuda from the Corporate Planning Office stated, 'Through our SDGs initiatives, we aim to enhance corporate value and realize a sustainable society.'
