The dividend ex-date rally for Formosa Plastics (1301-TW) Group's four core companies concluded today (8) with Nanya (1303-TW) as the final performer, distributing a cash dividend of NT$0.8 per share. The ex-dividend reference price was set at NT$165.5. Nanya opened at NT$167.5 and rapidly completed filling the dividend gap. Bolstered by large buy orders, the stock climbed to hit the daily limit up at NT$182. This marks the successful completion of dividend recovery for all four Formosa Group companies, bringing a positive dividend season for shareholders.

This year's dividend ex-date sequence began on June 23 with Formosa Petrochemical (6505-TW), followed by Formosa Chemicals & Fibre (1326-TW) on June 24, Formosa Plastics on June 30, and today's finale with Nanya. The respective cash dividends were NT$1.12, NT$0.6, NT$0.5, and NT$0.8. Due to the modest dividend amounts, all except Formosa Petrochemical filled the dividend gap on the same day, with Formosa Petrochemical achieving it in two days.

Nanya's strong upward momentum today also boosted other group stocks: Formosa Petrochemical and Formosa Chemicals surged over 4%, while Formosa Plastics rose more than 2%.

Nanya's performance this year reflects successful business transformation. Chairman Wu Chia-chao stated at the shareholder meeting that Nanya benefits from tightening supply-demand conditions in the electronic materials market, with price hikes expected to continue. The company forecasts average electronic materials prices to rise by at least 10% in the third quarter, supporting continued profit growth in the second half.

Additionally, Nanya plans to invest NT$12.4 billion by 2030 in technology upgrades and capacity optimization to meet future market demands. This investment is projected to generate an annual output value of NT$42.6 billion, expanding its high-margin, high-value electronic materials business.

Furthermore, with Nanya holding stakes in two investee companies—Nanya Technology (2408-TW) and Nan Ya PCB (8046-TW)—financial analysts anticipate enhanced financial and capital operational flexibility for Nanya.
