Power supply manufacturer LITE-ON Technology (2301-TW) announced today (9th) that its June revenue was NT$18.7 billion, up 8% month-on-month and 37% year-on-year. Driven by the continuous strong demand for AI and cloud computing high-end server power supplies, high-efficiency backup battery systems (BBU), and other power management systems, the second-quarter revenue was NT$52.74 billion, up 21.5% quarter-on-quarter and 30.5% year-on-year; the cumulative revenue for the first half of the year was NT$96.1 billion, up 25% year-on-year.

The cloud and IoT department's June revenue accounted for 56% of the total, with AI, cloud computing, high-end servers, and network communication power management systems shipping well, driving the cloud and IoT department's revenue to increase by more than 80% year-on-year.

The optoelectronics department's revenue accounted for 15% of the total. High-end optocouplers benefited from the growth in demand for industrial control, new energy, and AI server power management systems; invisible light was driven by sensor applications; and high-end visible light benefited from the stable growth of high-integration, miniaturized indicator lights for AI servers and switches, jointly pushing the optoelectronics department's year-on-year growth to exceed 10%.

The information and consumer electronics department's revenue accounted for 29% of the total. Benefiting from product combination optimization and market application diversification, the stable growth in demand for low-orbit satellites and high-end power supplies drove the information and consumer electronics department's month-on-month growth to exceed 10%.
