STARLUX Airlines Chairman Chang Kuo-Wei stated, 'Hajime Sorayama’s work is renowned for its unique aesthetic worldview, while simultaneously imbuing metal with delicate and profound emotion—this aligns perfectly with STARLUX’s brand philosophy. This collaboration not only realizes the world’s largest airborne artwork but also features Kōki as the protagonist in our promotional film.'
STARLUX announced that the 'STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA' B-58553 aircraft will officially commence flights to Tokyo on July 12. Themed amenities will include boarding passes, name tags, paper cups, tissues, and various other in-flight items. A golden aircraft version will follow.
Future 'STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA' routes will include Tokyo, Phoenix, and Prague. With the full AIRSTORYAMA-themed flight launching on October 1, passengers will be immersed in a unique experience where art and aviation converge from the moment they check in.
Chang Kuo-Wei expressed his hope that this cross-industry collaboration will redefine public perception of air travel—transforming flight from mere transportation into an artistic journey across the world.
