EVA Airways (2618-TW) announced today (9th) that its consolidated revenue for June once again set a new record, reaching NT$23.472 billion. This represents a 5.12% increase from the previous month and a 26.58% year-on-year growth, not only surpassing the NT$20 billion mark for the fourth consecutive month but also setting a new milestone.

In June, EVA Airways' passenger revenue reached NT$14.132 billion, a record high for a single month, up 19.04% year-on-year. Cargo revenue hit NT$6.652 billion, a 48.34% year-on-year increase, marking the second-highest level for the same period.

Cumulatively for the first half of the year, EVA Airways' passenger revenue reached NT$81.095 billion, driving total revenue to NT$128.286 billion, a 16.36% year-on-year increase—both figures setting new records for the same period.

EVA Airways noted that the passenger market gradually entered the peak summer travel season in June. Demand for business and tourism travel on trans-Pacific routes, particularly to the Americas, significantly increased due to the traditional peak season and the Taipei International Computer Show, resulting in a 90% load factor. The inaugural flight to Washington, D.C., launched on June 26, was fully booked, indicating strong market demand and positive future prospects. European routes also maintained a 90% load factor, continuing their strong performance.

In addition to long-haul routes, travel momentum on Southeast Asian, Japan-Korea, and China routes warmed up, with market demand remaining robust across the board. Booking volumes across all routes showed steady growth.

On the cargo side, strong demand for AI supply chain-related products such as semiconductors and servers, coupled with active cross-border e-commerce and perishable goods shipments, further boosted revenue.

Looking ahead, to meet strong demand for sightseeing, tourism, and independent travel, EVA Airways will increase flights on the Taoyuan–Busan (PUS) route by five weekly flights starting July 1, raising the total from seven to twelve weekly flights. The Taoyuan–Kobe (UKB) route will add seven weekly flights starting mid-June, increasing from three to ten weekly flights. During the summer holiday period, the Taoyuan–Brisbane (BNE) route will be increased to four weekly flights, effective until August 25.
