Lv Yin (6846-TW), an international developer and manufacturer of biotech health food ingredients, is accelerating overseas market expansion while introducing international raw materials to differentiate itself in Taiwan's highly competitive market. Today (10th), Lv Yin announced June revenue of NT$66.8 million, representing a 3.23% increase from the previous month and a 5.67% year-on-year rise. Revenue for January to June 2024 totaled NT$394 million, down 10.8% compared to the same period last year.

Additionally, Q2 remains Lv Yin's operational off-season, with quarterly revenue at NT$196 million, down 1.18% quarter-on-quarter and 6.24% year-on-year.

To meet growing international customer demand, Lv Yin has advanced construction of its new plant in Tanzi, Taichung. The plant has already reached topping-out stage, with factory construction and equipment installation scheduled for completion by Q4 2026. Trial production is set to begin in Q1 2027, followed by full-scale mass production in Q2 2027. The new plant is expected to significantly boost production capacity and become a key driver of Lv Yin's operational growth, contributing visibly to revenue.

Lv Yin's proprietary Taiwan-sourced health ingredient development and one-stop design and manufacturing outsourcing (OEM) services are highly favored by domestic and international clients, resulting in strong order demand. However, current production capacity cannot fully meet customer needs, constraining growth momentum. Once the new Taichung Tanzi plant begins mass production in 2027, the company's operational scale is expected to achieve a leap forward.

Lv Yin's Q1 2024 revenue was NT$198 million, with a gross margin of 48.69%—up 0.26 percentage points quarter-on-quarter but down 0.82 percentage points year-on-year. Post-tax net profit was NT$31.13 million, down 29.9% year-on-year, with earnings per share at NT$1.15. In Q1, higher production costs associated with fulfilling urgent orders from a major client impacted profitability.
