China's A-share semiconductor sector welcomed another star stock today (10th), Torrens, which surged nearly 1070% immediately after market open, triggering a temporary trading halt due to a 30% rise from the opening price. The stock price reached 264.42 CNY per share (all in RMB unless otherwise stated), with a market capitalization of approximately 49 billion CNY. Investors who successfully secured an allotment could earn 120,900 CNY (about 568,000 JPY).
The Shenzhen Stock Exchange announced today that, according to the 'Shenzhen Stock Exchange Trading Rules' and related regulations, trading in Torrens was temporarily suspended at 09:30:25 due to its intraday trading price rising by 30% or more from the opening price for the first time, and resumed at 09:40:26.
Data shows that Torrens is a leading domestic provider in China offering integrated services for the research, production, and sales of precision metal components, focusing on delivering high-performance critical process parts, process components, structural parts, gas piping, and system assembly products for semiconductor equipment.
The company's business centers on front-end core equipment with high technical barriers, such as etching and thin-film deposition processes, covering logic chip manufacturing equipment, memory chip manufacturing equipment, and advanced packaging fields.
Backed by deep technological expertise, Torrens has been recognized as a national-level 'Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative' (Zhuan Jing Te Xin) key 'Little Giant' enterprise.
Torrens' major clients include leading semiconductor equipment companies such as NAURA Technology and Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment (AMEC), with sales to its top five customers accounting for over 90% of total revenue.
In terms of financial performance, Torrens reported revenues of 291 million CNY, 610 million CNY, and 720 million CNY in 2023, 2024, and 2025, respectively. Net profits attributable to shareholders were 15.3047 million CNY, 106 million CNY, and 98.1756 million CNY, respectively.
For the first half of this year, Torrens forecasts revenue between 383 million and 398 million CNY, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.53% to 6.53%. However, non-controlling interest net profit is estimated at 38.0249 million to 42.0147 million CNY, a year-on-year decline of 29.46% to 36.16%, primarily due to increased foreign exchange losses, higher R&D expenses, and lower overall capacity utilization.
