Amid surging global demand for AI, cloud computing, and high-performance computing applications, a NT$47 billion syndicated loan for JIS Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Gigabyte Technology (2376-TW), was officially signed today (21st). The loan is jointly led by Mega International Commercial Bank, First Commercial Bank, and Cathay United Bank. The signing ceremony was attended by Ye Pei-Cheng, Chairman of Gigabyte and JIS Technology; Tung Jui-Pin, Chairman of Mega Bank; Chiu Yueh-Chin, Chairman of First Bank; and Deng Chong-Yi, General Manager of Cathay United Bank.

The syndicated loan has drawn significant attention from the financial sector since its launch. Mega Bank serves as the overall facility coordinator, First Bank as the USD facility manager, and Cathay United Bank as the sustainability loan coordinator. A total of 15 financial institutions participated enthusiastically, with subscription commitments reaching 2.11 times the original target, underscoring strong bank syndicate confidence in JIS Technology's technological capabilities and future business prospects.
