Canon Enterprise (2374-TW) achieved an earnings per share (EPS) of NT$2.44 last year and has decided to distribute a cash dividend of NT$2 per share, marking the highest dividend in 12 years. The company officially announced today (22) that the ex-dividend trading date will be August 19, with dividend payments expected on September 20.
Based on today's closing price of NT$67.7, the NT$2 dividend translates to a cash dividend yield of 2.95%.
Meanwhile, Canon Enterprise reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of NT$2.656 billion, with a gross margin of 24.32%, up 2.65 percentage points quarter-on-quarter but down 4.99 percentage points year-on-year. First-quarter post-tax net profit reached NT$236 million, down 21.07% quarter-on-quarter but up 1.7 times year-on-year, resulting in an EPS of NT$0.73. Revenue for January to June totaled NT$5.792 billion, representing a 51.37% year-on-year increase.
Canon stated that in recent years, it has integrated AI technology with its optical products, targeting high-growth markets such as urban surveillance, robotics vision, and drones. AI-powered imaging products are being shipped progressively, and the benefits of flexible capacity allocation and equipment upgrades across its facilities in Dongguan, Northern Vietnam, and Taiwan are becoming evident. The company expects continued optimization of its product mix, which will serve as a new growth driver for future operations.
