The Taiwan Stock Exchange and GreTai Securities Market announced today (22) the latest list of securities under special trading restrictions, including SunPower Semiconductor (8028-TW), a leading再生 silicon wafer manufacturer, and Central Probe (6217-TW), a semiconductor advanced packaging and testing firm. The restriction period will run from tomorrow (23) to August 5, with SunPower adopting a 5-minute batch matching system and Central Probe a 20-minute batch matching system.

SunPower Semiconductor was placed under restriction due to its P/E ratio of 68.14 and P/B ratio of 10.18 today, along with a turnover rate of 5.46%. Additionally, JPMorgan Securities executed buy orders exceeding NT$100 million, accounting for 11.44% of the stock’s total trading value. A single investor’s buy volume exceeded NT$100 million and represented over 10% of the day’s total trading value.

Central Probe was restricted due to a cumulative closing price decline of 27.23% over the past six trading days (including today), with a price difference of NT$56.5 between the start and end of that two-day period. Its daily turnover rate reached 8.11%.

SunPower Semiconductor has also recently released financial updates to inform investors of its latest operations. According to its self-reported financial data, the company achieved a Q2 2026 EPS of NT$1.71, nearly doubling its year-on-year earnings from Q2 2025.
