Resource recycling company Chia Lung (9955-TW) is actively raising capital in the market. The company plans to issue 15,000 new shares through a cash capital increase at NT$20 per share, raising a total of NT$300 million. The offering will be subscribed by existing shareholders in proportion to their holdings, with the ex-rights trading date set for July 30 and fundraising expected to be completed by mid-September.
Meanwhile, lead recycler Jin Lian Cheng (7865-TW) is issuing 6,700 new shares at NT$45 per share, with fundraising expected to be completed by August 4.
Additionally, Keningwei (8422-TW) has announced plans to issue its third domestic unsecured convertible bond worth NT$2.5 billion, which has already been filed with the Financial Supervisory Commission. The lead underwriter for this bond issuance is CTBC Securities. The proceeds will primarily fund investments in the Kaohsiung South Area Incinerator BOT project and repay bank loans.
The Kaohsiung South Area Incinerator BOT project marks Keningwei’s strategic expansion into municipal waste treatment and is a key driver for long-term growth. With a total investment of NT$15 billion, the project completed handover earlier this year. Keningwei has established Jixin Company jointly with Taiwan Life Insurance, advancing the project under a 'build-first, demolish-later' model. During the three-year construction period of the new plant, the old facility will continue operations to ensure stable cash flow. Once the new plant becomes operational, annual power generation is projected to exceed 350 million kWh.
