Taishin & SK Life Financial Holding (2887-TW) celebrates its one-year merger anniversary today (24th). Over the past year, the group has advanced organizational integration and cross-business collaboration, with benefits gradually emerging. Not only have its first-half profits and EPS reached historic highs, but total assets have surpassed 9 trillion TWD, elevating it to the fourth-largest financial holding in Taiwan. The stock price has more than doubled, soaring to 34.5 TWD (closing price on July 23). General Manager Lin Wei-chun recently stated in a media interview that future dividend policy will be based on three core principles: overall profitability, dividend yield competitiveness compared to peers, and stability and predictability, with cash dividends as the primary form, continuously converting operational results into shared value for shareholders.

Taishin & SK Life Financial Holding completed its merger on July 24, 2025, and today officially marks its first anniversary. The merger benefits are evident in outstanding operating performance. In the first half of this year, cumulative after-tax net profit reached 43.83 billion TWD, a significant 329% increase year-on-year; earnings per share (EPS) reached 1.71 TWD, both setting historical records and demonstrating strong operational growth momentum.

Moreover, the group's total asset scale has surpassed 9 trillion TWD post-merger, officially rising to become Taiwan's fourth-largest financial holding and joining the Tier 1 financial institutions. Lin Wei-chun stated that the company follows an integration rhythm of 'deepening investment in the first two years, with synergies emerging in the third year.' Entering the second year, it will further deepen brand, system, and business integration, leverage resource-sharing advantages, and achieve the '1+1>2' synergy goal.

Taishin & SK Life Financial Holding's operating results have also been substantially returned to shareholders. This year, it distributed a total dividend of 1.1 TWD per share (including 1 TWD in cash dividends and 0.1 TWD in stock dividends), demonstrating sound capital planning and return capability.

Regarding future shareholder returns, a topic of market interest, Lin Wei-chun stated that three core principles will be considered when reporting to the board. First is profitability, using overall earnings as the core basis. Second is dividend yield competitiveness, continuously reviewing cash and total dividend yields, aiming to maintain a top-tier position among peers. Third is stability and predictability, striving for steady dividend growth and building a corporate image suitable for 'long-term holding.'

Lin Wei-chun added that future dividend policy will continue to prioritize cash dividends, while stock dividends will retain flexible space but not exceed a high ratio, balancing shareholder return competitiveness with long-term capital planning.

Taishin & SK Life Financial Holding's robust fundamentals post-merger have received high recognition from the capital market. Since the merger benchmark date on July 24 last year, the stock has completed two dividend distributions, and the price has surged from 16.3 TWD on the merger day to 34.5 TWD on July 23, 2026, with a cumulative increase of 111.66%.

Lin Wei-chun emphasized that the management team will continue to deepen business integration, transform scale advantages into competitive strengths, provide more comprehensive financial services to over ten million customers across Taiwan, and create long-term, stable investment value for all shareholders.
