Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's Supreme Leader, responded on Sunday night to a recent letter from Hezbollah's leader Naim Qassem and its armed personnel.

In his reply, he stated that in the current regional situation, Hezbollah stands as a primary force resisting Israel and its supporters, and has become a significant source of inspiration for people worldwide opposing hegemony and its proxies.

He emphasized that Hezbollah's ability to sustain resistance relies not only on its armed members but also on popular support, especially from civilians in southern Lebanon.

Mojtaba reiterated that supporting Hezbollah has become a strategic policy of Iran, following the path established by the late Supreme Leader Khamenei.

He stated that Iran will uphold the preservation of Lebanon's territorial integrity and the full, unconditional end of Israeli military operations as the primary conditions for any understanding memorandum with the United States to end the conflict.

Mojtaba asserted that people around the world can no longer endure the oppression and atrocities committed by the United States and Israel, and that Iran will continue to adhere to the path of resistance.

On the same day, the Lebanese military condemned Israel's ongoing military operations in southern Lebanon, stating that these actions hinder the Lebanese Army's full deployment in accordance with the trilateral framework agreement reached last month between Lebanon, Israel, and the United States.

The Lebanese military reported that the Israeli Defense Forces continue launching attacks in violation of international law, systematically destroying homes and conducting bombings across multiple areas in southern Lebanon. These attacks obstruct the Lebanese Army’s deployment as stipulated in the agreement and prevent residents from returning to their homes.

On June 3, Eastern Standard Time, the United States, Israel, and Lebanon issued a joint statement announcing that, as a result of U.S.-led negotiations, Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a ceasefire, contingent upon Hezbollah fully ceasing fire and withdrawing its armed personnel from southern Lebanese territories south of the Litani River.
