The active ETF market has flourished this year, and after the 'Fu-Hua Taiwan Future 50 (00991A-TW)' became the top performer in the first half, Fu-Hua Asset Management has launched its second 'Future 50' series product—'Fu-Hua Global Future 50 Active ETF (00409A-TW)'—scheduled to begin fundraising on August 12 at a par value of NT$10. This fund brings together three star portfolio managers with over NT$170 billion in total asset management scale, flexibly managed to gain early exposure to top ten key holdings such as SK Hynix, Micron, and TSMC. The portfolio consists of approximately 50 stocks covering U.S., Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese markets, adopting a strategy combining 'core computing supply chain + upgrade themes + non-tech AI beneficiaries'.
According to statistics (as of July 24, 2026), active ETFs have grown rapidly since their launch in Q2 of last year, with the number of listed products increasing to 35 and total assets surpassing NT$900 billion. Among them, 00991A, focused on Taiwan equities, has exceeded NT$70 billion in scale, ranking among the top three active ETFs, and achieved an outstanding 96% return in the first half of this year, earning high market favor.
Building on this strong momentum, Fu-Hua Asset Management is expanding its investment horizon from Taiwan to the globe. Currently, AI technology is evolving rapidly, and hardware and software industries are often dominated by a few high-barrier enterprises enjoying excess profits. Meanwhile, non-AI industries that effectively leverage AI to upgrade their business models (such as finance, defense, biotech, robotics, etc.) are also demonstrating strong growth. 00409A is designed to select the 50 most representative and competitive 'industry winner stocks' globally, aiming to secure long-term excess returns for investors.
In response to the volatile global AI and tech investment environment, 00409A adopts the rare 'multi-manager' collaborative management system in active ETFs, jointly operated by three star managers from Fu-Hua's overseas equity department. The three managers currently manage over NT$170 billion in combined assets, showcasing a strong team capability.
Core manager Hsu Chia-Ling has nearly 10 years of fund management experience and 16.9 years of investment research background (National Taiwan University, Financial Engineering), having weathered multiple market cycles. She excels at accurately capturing market fund flows and swiftly adapting to macroeconomic changes with sharp market intuition. The 'Fu-Hua Chinese Century Fund' under her management achieved a three-year return of as high as 466%.
Co-manager Wang Wan-Li has 23.4 years of investment research experience, previously working at foreign securities firms (HSBC Securities, Credit Suisse Securities) and Intel Capital, possessing extensive institutional networks and diverse international perspectives.
Co-manager Huang Chun-Jui has a strong technology background, formerly a R&D engineer at TSMC (Master’s in Materials Engineering from Penn State and USC), enabling deep analysis of technical specifications and barriers within semiconductor and advanced tech supply chains.
The team manages funds such as Fu-Hua Chinese Century, Fu-Hua Asia-Pacific God Dragon Technology, and Fu-Hua Global IoT Technology, all ranking among the top performers in their categories over the past one, two, and three years, demonstrating 'World Cup-level' comprehensive management strength.
00409A has a par value of NT$10, with one board lot costing only NT$10,000. Fundraising is scheduled from August 12 to 14, with listing expected on September 2. The top ten holdings are expected to include global leaders in wafer foundry, memory, passive components, and AI custom chips. The specific lineup is as follows:
