Baotai Biomedical (7850-TW) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DHNP, a major pharmaceutical company in South Korea. Under the MOU framework, both parties will conduct commercial and technical evaluations on Baotai's self-developed 'innovative biologic' projects, and proceed to negotiate formal collaboration and licensing agreements, aiming to jointly capture the global pet healthcare market valued at billions of dollars.

Baotai explained that, under the terms of this MOU, both parties will assess the designated self-developed innovative biologic projects (Designated Technology Items) in terms of commercial viability, technical feasibility, clinical development, regulatory requirements, and market potential, and will subsequently negotiate formal cooperation terms based on these evaluations.

However, Baotai added that, due to a previously signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), specific details such as indications, disease applications, collaboration regions, and financial terms are currently kept confidential. These details will be determined according to the terms of the future definitive agreement.

Baotai noted that if a formal collaboration is achieved, both parties will combine their respective R&D, clinical development, regulatory, and market resources to jointly advance product development and commercialization strategies in designated markets, thereby expanding their international cooperation footprint.
