Taiwan's leading supermarket chain Presto announced today (29th) that with rapidly changing consumer demands, its subsidiary Quan e-commerce will serve as the core platform for the group's OMO development, integrating member, store, payment, logistics, and brand resources. The company will focus on four strategic directions: deepening AI computation with strategic partners, data application, RMN, and adding logistics warehouses, aiming to achieve annual revenue of NT$5 billion.
Presto stated that Quan e-commerce has already integrated 1,260 physical stores, over 11 million PX Pay members, over 7 million Quan Pay members, and services such as one-hour delivery and batch pickup, creating a complete OMO retail service network. Moving forward, it will not only be a product sales platform but also a key hub connecting members, brands, and channels.
Since its launch, Quan e-commerce has surpassed one million members, aggregating over 700,000 products and 5,000 partner brands. GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) grew 75% year-on-year, and with continued growth, Quan e-commerce is collaborating with strategic partners including AWS, FamilyMart, Hsinchu Logistics, Jin Sheng Shi, Cross-border Harvest, and Qi Wei. Together, they are building a more comprehensive OMO retail ecosystem through AI data computation via AWS, Google data integration, Presto Group's OMO data application, and the addition of logistics warehouses.
Quan e-commerce now offers over 700,000 products, a nearly 50% increase over the past year, expanding from daily necessities like food and household goods to diverse categories including beauty, health, 3C, appliances, and home goods. This has driven a 65% increase in average order value over the past year. Among these, the audio-visual entertainment category saw nearly a 3x year-on-year increase, and the 3C category nearly doubled, with AirPods becoming one of the best-selling items.
Presto believes that as the platform scale continues to grow, the next stage of competition lies not just in offering more products, but in better understanding consumers. To this end, Quan e-commerce will collaborate with Amazon Web Services (AWS), leveraging cloud and AI computing capabilities to analyze different consumption scenarios and diverse data, further integrating product information, member needs, and lifestyle contexts.
Simultaneously, Quan e-commerce is developing RMN (Retail Media Network), transforming member insights and retail scenarios into marketing resources that brands can utilize, helping partners more accurately reach their target customers.
Additionally, through collaboration with Hsinchu Logistics, Quan e-commerce will add new warehousing facilities. Starting in the fourth quarter, the first phase will prioritize consolidating high-purchase-rate, high-turnover items such as beauty and health products into centralized warehouses to optimize inventory and shipping processes.
Presto is optimistic that the number of suppliers partnering with Quan e-commerce has grown 140% over the past year, indicating that an increasing number of brands recognize the platform's member base and growth potential, as it strives to achieve annual revenue of NT$5 billion.
