Baguan (1342-TW) announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026 today (30th). Driven by its two core growth engines—outdoor and medical products—Baguan achieved quarterly revenue of NT$994 million, representing an 8.33% increase quarter-on-quarter and a 40.7% year-on-year growth. Net profit after tax reached NT$157 million, down approximately 3% from the previous quarter but up 125% year-on-year, with earnings per share (EPS) at NT$2.01 for the quarter.
For the first half of 2026, Baguan recorded cumulative revenue of NT$1.911 billion, a 28.7% increase year-on-year. Operating profit reached NT$350 million (up 22.3% YoY), while net profit after tax amounted to NT$319 million (up 51.6% YoY), resulting in an EPS of NT$4.1. Both the cumulative net profit and EPS for the first half exceeded the levels achieved in the first three quarters of 2025.
Baguan attributed the Q2 revenue of NT$994 million (up 40% YoY) to stronger-than-expected order intake and shipment performance. Q2 operating profit was NT$163 million (up 30.9% YoY), and a significant year-on-year improvement in foreign exchange gains further boosted net profit, driving the 125% year-on-year growth. Both revenue and profitability reached record highs for the same quarter.
Among the company’s four product lines this year, outdoor and medical products remain the two primary growth drivers. Both segments achieved double-digit revenue growth in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year, collectively accounting for 80% of total revenue. The record-high revenue and profit performance in Q2 and H1 were driven by economies of scale.
Looking ahead to Q3 2026, Baguan stated that customer orders and shipments remain on a normal trajectory, and the company expects to maintain its typical seasonal performance. With continued demand from outdoor, medical, aerospace and marine, and defense sectors, Baguan will continue optimizing its product mix, enhancing production efficiency, and closely monitoring market dynamics to steadily advance its operations.
Baguan operates two major business divisions—leather and fabric materials, and finished component products—specializing in the secondary and tertiary manufacturing and sales of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer) functional fabrics and related finished components. These are applied in high-end industries such as medical, aerospace, life-saving, and outdoor applications.
