Friend's CEO Ke Fu-jen Resigns, CFO Zhang Bo-yi to Take Over Effective July 31

Friend (2409-TW), a major panel manufacturer, announced on the 30th that its board of directors approved a change in the CEO. Current CEO Ke Fu-jen has resigned for personal reasons, and current CFO Zhang Bo-yi will take over as CEO, effective July 31.

Zhang Bo-yi has served as a senior financial manager and CFO of listed companies within the group, with extensive experience in finance, management, human resources, asset management, and legal affairs. Friend stated that Zhang Bo-yi's expertise in finance and business management is expected to integrate group strategies, optimize resource allocation, and improve financial structures.

Friend completed the layout of its new management team on July 1st, and the organizational structure of its three major strategic business pillars, including Technology (Display), Smart Mobility (Mobility Solutions), Vertical Solutions, and the Institute of Innovation & New Venture, has been established.
