TPK (2383-TW), a leading upstream copper-clad laminate (CCL) supplier for PCBs, reported a record net profit of NT$9.87 billion in the second quarter of 2026, marking the highest quarterly profit in its history. This represents an 84.9% increase from the previous quarter and a 1.83-fold year-on-year growth, with earnings per share (EPS) reaching NT$27.55. As a result, TPK's EPS for the first half of 2026 reached NT$42.46. On July 30, amid a rebound in the Taiwan stock market, TPK's share price surged to NT$4,510, hitting the daily trading limit, forming a dual engine of recovery in the electronics sector alongside Unimicron (3037-TW).

TPK operated at full capacity in Q2 2026, achieving record quarterly revenue of NT$47.27 billion. Its gross margin reached 33.9%, up 4.5 percentage points quarter-on-quarter and 3.85 percentage points year-on-year. The company's net profit after tax for Q2 2026 was NT$9.87 billion, representing an 84.9% quarterly increase and a 1.83-fold year-on-year growth, with EPS at NT$27.55.

For the first half of 2026, TPK posted total revenue of NT$80.342 billion, a gross margin of 32.02% (up 1.65 percentage points year-on-year), and a net profit after tax of NT$15.213 billion, up 1.19 times year-on-year, resulting in an EPS of NT$42.46.

TPK finalized its dividend plan of NT$25 per share for the previous year, with ex-dividend trading taking place on August 28, 2026.

Meanwhile, ABF and PCB manufacturer Unimicron expects AI-related product revenue to rise to 70% in the second half of the year. Its share price surged to NT$756 early in the trading session today, also hitting the daily limit.
