Following the price increases in memory and hard drives, China's computer hardware market is experiencing another wave of price fluctuations.

In Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei market, consumer-grade graphics card prices have risen rapidly since late July. Some popular models have increased by several hundred yuan within days, with high-end models seeing price hikes reaching the thousand-yuan level.

According to a report by the Shanghai Securities News on August 2, the popular RTX 5060 model is now quoted between 2,700 and 3,100 yuan, up from a pre-surge range of approximately 2,300 to 2,500 yuan. In just four days, the RTX 5060's price rose by as much as 800 yuan, representing an increase of over 30 percent.

The price surge for high-end models is even more pronounced. The RTX 5080 is now quoted at over 11,000 yuan, up approximately 1,700 yuan from early July.

"Just two days ago, buyers could have saved around 1,000 yuan," said a computer assembly vendor in Huaqiangbei. Recently, graphics card prices have been changing daily—"one price per day." Many consumers who previously inquired about system configurations were still hesitating, but by the time they decided to purchase, prices had already changed.
