The world's first ETF dedicated exclusively to memory chips, Roundhill DRAM ETF (DRAM-US), completed its latest portfolio rebalancing at the end of July by adding Chinese memory manufacturer ChangXin Memory Technologies (688825-CN) to its holdings with a weighting of 2.52%, positioning it as the fund's eighth-largest holding.

When GigaDevice was first included in the DRAM ETF in June 2026, its weighting reached as high as 2.91%, also placing it as the eighth-largest holding at the time.

Issued by Roundhill Investments, the DRAM ETF debuted on the U.S. Cboe BZX Exchange on April 2, 2026, becoming the world's first exchange-traded fund focused purely on the memory chip industry, attracting significant market attention from its launch.

According to the latest data as of August 2, the fund's top three holdings are Samsung Electronics (005930KS), Micron Technology (MU-US), and SK Hynix (000660KS), with weightings of 26.39%, 24.54%, and 22.77% respectively—collectively accounting for over 70% of the portfolio.

Notably, Roundhill also adjusted its position in Samsung Electronics last week, selling approximately 1 million shares each day over three consecutive trading days from Monday to Wednesday, totaling 3 million shares sold for approximately $432 million.

In terms of overall portfolio composition, the DRAM ETF's current top ten holdings include Samsung Electronics, Micron Technology, SK Hynix, Seagate Technology (STX-US), Western Digital (WDC-US), SanDisk (SNDKV-US), Kioxia, as well as ChangXin Memory Technologies, Nanya Technology (2408-TW), and GigaDevice—effectively covering nearly all major global memory chip manufacturers.

ChangXin Memory Technologies is regarded as China's largest DRAM manufacturer with the highest degree of integrated R&D and manufacturing capabilities. According to market research firm Omdia's estimates based on Q4 2025 sales figures, ChangXin holds a 7.67% global market share, ranking fourth globally and first among Chinese firms.
