GPU prices in China have gone wild, with the RTX50 series increasing by over CNY 1,000. The market in Huaqiangbei changes prices daily, manufacturers have sealed their warehouses, and merchants say they 'can't write quotation sheets'.
In Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei market, consumer-grade GPU prices have risen significantly. Taking the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB as an example, its current market price has climbed to 3,400 yuan, up more than 1,000 yuan from the previous 2,350 yuan. Higher-end models like the RTX 5070 Ti series have already exceeded 8,000 yuan.
According to a report by '21 Finance' on Tuesday (4th), high-end products have seen even sharper increases. The price of the RTX 5090 series has skyrocketed from around 20,000 yuan to approximately 35,000 yuan.
'It’s impossible to write quotations—prices change every day,' said multiple merchants in Huaqiangbei. Hardware is being prioritized for AI computing power, driving up GPU costs. Currently, factories from major brands are sealing their warehouses and temporarily halting bulk shipments. This sudden price surge has left the market struggling to respond.
