DRAM manufacturer Nanya Technology (2408-TW) announced its July revenue today (4th), which reached NT$43.868 billion, a 49.26% increase from the previous month and a staggering 7.2-fold year-on-year surge, setting yet another record high. Cumulative revenue for the first seven months of the year reached NT$175.504 billion, up 660.87% compared to the same period last year.

Fueled by strong AI-driven demand causing persistent supply shortages in the DRAM market, Nanya has continued raising prices with customers in the third quarter, with prices remaining above Q2 levels and potential for further increases in Q4. Thanks to continuously rising prices, the company's revenue is expanding rapidly—July's revenue alone is nearly equivalent to the total revenue of the first ten months of last year, highlighting the extraordinary growth momentum.

According to a recent report by a U.S. foreign investment firm, Nanya is benefiting from a tight supply-demand structure, with DDR4 contract prices in Q3 rising over 30% quarter-on-quarter.

With demand surging, Nanya's existing production capacity is already fully utilized. To meet customer orders, the company is actively expanding production. The new fab is planned to reach a full monthly capacity of 45,000 wafers, with total capital expenditure estimated at approximately NT$480 billion. To date, investments have not yet reached NT$100 billion, with the majority of construction and equipment spending expected to be concentrated in the coming years.
