Frequency component manufacturer TXC (3042-TW) has entered its traditional peak season in the third quarter of 2026. The company reported strong shipments in 5G and automotive applications during July, announcing today (August 5) that its July revenue reached NT$1.366 billion, the second-highest monthly figure in its history. This represents a 14.48% increase from the previous month and a 22.91% year-over-year growth. Cumulative revenue from January to July totaled NT$8.404 billion, up 9.94% year-on-year.
Additionally, robust demand from the optical communications sector has positively impacted orders for related quartz oscillators (XOs). TXC's revenue contribution from quartz oscillators used in servers, optical communications, and optical modules has risen to 14–15%. The company's shipment schedule is already booked through 2027.
Based on current order visibility, TXC expects third-quarter revenue to grow 8–10% quarter-on-quarter, surpassing the growth rate of the same period last year. Comparing first-half and second-half performance, TXC's first-half 2026 revenue reached NT$7.038 billion, up 7.7% year-on-year. The projected full-year revenue split between the first and second halves is expected to be 45% and 55%, respectively, indicating stronger performance in the second half. Based on this outlook, TXC's full-year 2026 revenue is forecasted to reach NT$15.7 billion, setting a new historical high.
Moreover, TXC has invested in capacity expansion, with new equipment scheduled to come online starting in the fourth quarter of 2026. This expansion is expected to support growing market demand and serve as a key driver for second-half performance.
TXC also reported a self-calculated pre-tax profit of NT$232 million in June 2026, the highest in 15 months. First-half pre-tax profit reached NT$1.22 billion, up 23.9% year-on-year, with pre-tax earnings per share at NT$3.60.
