Earnings per share (EPS) reached 3.42 yuan, setting a new quarterly high. The net profit for the first half of the year was 8.48 billion yuan, up 57% year-over-year, with an EPS of 5.93 yuan, the best for the same period.
Flytech's second-quarter revenue was 18.82 billion yuan, up 38% year-over-year, with a gross margin of 45.4%, up 1.5 percentage points, and an operating profit margin of 30.9%, up 4.7 percentage points. The revenue for the first half of the year was 33.92 billion yuan, up 25% year-over-year, with a gross margin of 44.5%, up 1.3 percentage points, and an operating profit margin of 29.7%, up 2.7 percentage points.
Despite facing fluctuations in key raw material costs and supply chain challenges, Flytech attributed its performance to the deepening of terminal market applications, the upgrading of AI software and domain computing, and the sustained improvement in operational leverage, which optimized the overall profit structure and pushed both the second quarter and the first half of the year to set new historical records.
