According to Yonhap News Agency, citing sources, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo will meet NVIDIA (NVDA-US) CEO Jensen Huang in the United States next week to promote collaboration in artificial intelligence infrastructure and robotics.
This reunion comes approximately two months after Huang's visit to South Korea in early June, during which he met with Koo at the LG Twin Towers in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul. The two sides will discuss ways to expand cooperation in embodied artificial intelligence (AI) and AI data center fields—aligning with recent collaborative directions both companies have been pursuing. Sources indicate that potential investment scale and technical development timelines are expected to be discussed.
During their meeting on June 8, Huang stated that NVIDIA would collaborate with LG Group on humanoid robots and next-generation data centers. At the time, Koo noted that in-depth discussions were limited due to time constraints; Huang subsequently invited him to California for follow-up talks.
Currently, LG has established multiple partnerships with NVIDIA and is collaborating across three core AI domains: physical AI, AI data centers, and mobility.
The two companies are jointly developing robots using NVIDIA’s physical AI platform 'Isaac GR00T,' while also advancing upgrades to data center cooling solutions, including liquid distribution units (for CPUs), and mobility AI systems encompassing autonomous driving technologies.
