The 'Taiwan International Net-Zero Sustainability Expo' and 'Taiwan International Smart Energy Week,' co-organized by TAITRA and the Green Energy & Sustainability Alliance (GESA) under SEMI, will take place from October 14 to 16, 2026, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. TAITRA stated that as Taiwan’s largest professional exhibition for renewable energy and net-zero solutions, the event will bring together the latest energy technologies, decarbonization solutions, and industry trends, serving as a vital platform for businesses to grasp market dynamics, expand partnerships, and explore international business opportunities. Online pre-registration for visitors is now open.
According to the latest trend report released in April 2026 by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), an increasing number of companies are integrating decarbonization into their operational decisions and long-term development strategies. To meet the strong industry demand for net-zero solutions, the 2026 'Taiwan International Net-Zero Sustainability Expo' will feature numerous leading enterprises showcasing key technologies and services essential for corporate transformation, including CBAM compliance strategies, deep energy savings, carbon management and applications, green power trading, green finance, circular economy, and testing and certification. This will create a one-stop platform for net-zero solution exchanges.
With the rapid advancement of AI applications and ongoing digitalization, global electricity demand continues to rise. Energy transition has become a critical issue for nations aiming to enhance power supply resilience and industrial competitiveness. This year, the 'Taiwan International Smart Energy Week' will feature four exhibition zones: 'Photovoltaics,' 'Wind Energy,' 'Smart Energy Storage Applications,' and 'Diverse Renewable Energy.' Exhibits will cover components, equipment materials, testing and verification, system integration, operation and maintenance management, and talent development. The 'Diverse Renewable Energy' zone will especially invite emerging energy technologies such as hydrogen, geothermal, small hydropower, ocean energy, and biomass energy to capture future business opportunities in the green energy market.
TAITRA noted that this year’s event will also include a series of high-profile thematic forums covering hot topics such as net-zero action, AI-driven energy transition, biodiversity, and corporate sustainability governance. Industry leaders and experts will be invited to share the latest trends and practical experiences, creating a forward-looking venue for insight and collaboration.
Among them, the 'Net-Zero Future in Action Forum' will align with the exhibition’s theme 'Net-Zero in Action,' focusing on five key issues: 'International Financial Sustainability,' 'Supply Chain Standard Upgrading,' 'AI Computing Power,' 'Energy Restructuring,' and 'Carbon Data Governance.' This forum aims to help businesses understand market trends, support their journey from strategic planning to implementation, and further strengthen corporate resilience and market competitiveness.
Additionally, the exhibition will host a series of events including the 'Sustainability Awards' and procurement matchmaking sessions. Through showcasing sustainable innovation achievements and on-site voting mechanisms, public awareness and engagement in sustainability issues will be enhanced. The procurement matchmaking sessions will connect domestic and international buyers and suppliers, promoting cross-sector collaboration and business matching to assist companies in expanding their market reach. TAITRA welcomes active registration and participation from industry stakeholders. For more exhibition information, please visit the official website.
