Audio product supplier Jin Tai Electronics (3465-TW) has raised NT$210 million from the market through a cash capital increase and turned profitable in the second quarter of 2026. The company announced its latest revenue and earnings information today (10), reporting revenue of NT$145 million for July 2026, a 24.57% decrease month-on-month and a 9.26% decrease year-on-year.
Jin Tai Electronics executives indicated that the July revenue decline was primarily due to typhoon disruptions affecting shipping schedules in Shenzhen, causing shipments in late July to be delayed. However, this revenue will be recognized in early August of the current month.
Jin Tai Electronics' cumulative revenue for January to July 2026 reached NT$1.099 billion, representing a 10.56% increase compared to the same period last year, with overall operations continuing to recover.
Audio product manufacturer Jin Tai Electronics reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of NT$617 million, with a gross margin of 15.8%, an increase of 9.88 percentage points quarter-on-quarter and a decrease of 7.03 percentage points year-on-year. The company's net profit after tax for Q2 2026 was NT$6.56 million, turning profitable compared to the previous quarter and the same period last year, with earnings per share of NT$0.19.
For the first half of 2026 (January to June), Jin Tai Electronics reported cumulative revenue of NT$954 million, a gross margin of 12.31% (down 9.21 percentage points year-on-year), and a net loss after tax of NT$25.88 million, resulting in a loss per share of NT$0.73.
The company's Q2 recovery was primarily driven by increased procurement momentum from its U.S.-based client, the successful commercialization of new audio product development projects, and volume contributions from flagship models launched by clients. Additionally, the NT$210 million raised through the cash capital increase will be fully allocated to repaying bank loans, contributing to improved financial structure.
Regarding its outlook for the second half of 2026, Jin Tai Electronics stated that product price increases have been confirmed, supply shortages of key components and production capacity bottlenecks have been resolved, and product mix optimization is underway. Furthermore, a new series of audio products is about to enter mass production, and the company's AVR (Audio Video Receiver) products are scheduled to begin mass production and shipment in the second half of the year, all of which are expected to support stronger operational performance. Analysts estimate that Jin Tai Electronics' 2026 operations will continue to improve quarter by quarter, with second-half performance significantly outperforming the first half.
