KGI Securities announced today (11th) that, amid uncertainties from the U.S. election, global climate anomalies, and shifting monetary policies worldwide, volatility risks in single-market investments are quietly rising. To help investors build resilient and flexible all-weather asset protection strategies, KGI Futures is actively expanding its global commodities lineup, launching new futures contracts across four key sectors: indices, agricultural products, precious metals, and energy.

KGI Futures stated it will continue introducing diverse, low-threshold micro products. It has already launched night-session products from the Korea Exchange on June 30, including the Micro KOSPI 200 (MKS2), KOSPI 200 (KS), KOSDAQ 150 (KSQ), 3-Year Korean Bond (KTB), 10-Year Korean Bond (LKTB), and USD/KRW futures (USD), offering investors cross-timezone trading options.

The new contracts across KGI Futures’ four core sectors are rolling out progressively. The EUREX exchange’s MSCI World Index (FMWO) was listed on July 31, followed by the SGX exchange’s Micro Nikkei 225 Index (NS), set to launch on August 21.

Beyond equity-related products, extreme weather and inflation remain key market concerns for the second half of the year. On August 14, KGI Futures listed CME Group’s Micro Corn (MZC), Micro Soybeans (MZS), Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRS), and Micro Silver (QI). These micro-sized agricultural contracts allow investors to translate macro-level issues like climate anomalies into actionable trading strategies, effectively hedging against inflationary pressures on everyday food costs. Micro Silver, with its dual role in industrial use and risk hedging, further strengthens portfolio resilience. Also launched on the same day is Gasoil (G) from EUREX, catering to institutional investors and advanced traders seeking professional hedging solutions for Europe’s energy transition and winter energy reserve planning.
