PU synthetic manufacturer Yung Chi (4714-TW) has announced its self-compiled financial report for the first half of 2026, reporting a post-tax net loss of NT$17.74 million, or NT$0.1 loss per share, with overall operating performance showing a significant narrowing of losses compared to the same period last year (2025). Yung Chi stated that benefiting from visible group integration synergies, the company has continuously optimized its product portfolio structure and strictly controlled costs and expenses. In addition, contributions from non-core operations have boosted performance. In the second half of 2026, the company will implement a 'vertical integration and diversified development' strategy to deepen comprehensive applications in both traditional PU and high-tech electronics industries.

Yung Chi achieved consolidated revenue of NT$1.185 billion in the first half of 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 76.15%; post-tax net loss was NT$17.74 million, with overall operating performance significantly improving compared to the same period last year. Gross profit reached NT$173 million, up 28.76% year-on-year, driven by the realization of group integration synergies, continuous optimization of product mix, and strict cost and expense control.

In July 2026, revenue reached NT$150 million, up 5.65% month-on-month and 14.66% year-on-year. Cumulative consolidated revenue for January to July 2026 reached NT$1.334 billion, up 66.13% year-on-year. Both July's monthly revenue and the year-to-date total achieved record highs for the same period in history. The growth was primarily driven by the company's active expansion into high-value-added eco-friendly PU resins and water-based PU materials. As end-market demand in sports footwear materials, functional apparel, and traditional leather recovered, customer procurement strengthened, significantly boosting capacity utilization. Meanwhile, the completion and handover of the 'He Jiu Jing' real estate project under Yung Chi's subsidiary, with recognized property sales revenue, formed a dual-engine growth model that significantly contributed to the strong revenue performance.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, Yung Chi maintains a cautiously optimistic outlook. The company will continue to focus on 'green environmental protection' and 'high value-added' as core principles, leveraging its Taiwan plant as a global R&D and logistics hub, and actively pursuing overseas strategic alliances.

In response to global macroeconomic challenges such as geopolitical tensions and inflationary pressures, Yung Chi stated it will adopt a 'vertical integration and diversified development' strategy to deepen comprehensive applications in both traditional PU markets and high-tech electronics industries. In terms of production and sales policies, the company will prioritize high-solids and solvent-free moisture-curing PUR, TPU products, oil/water-based furniture and automotive leathers, fast-drying cross-linking agents, and eco-friendly water-based apparel products.
