Quanta also had a rise of over 1%. High-end IC design stocks also performed strongly, with Novatek (3661-TW) rising over 6%, Realtek (3443-TW) rising about 4.5%, and Novatek (3035-TW) also seeing buying interest. U.S. Sandisk (SNDK-US) had an optimistic outlook, driving the tech sector, with Foxconn Electronics (2344-TW) rising over 6%, Nanya Technology (2337-TW) rising about 4.5%, Nan Ya Plastics (2408-TW) rising over 4%, Powerchip Semiconductor (6770-TW) rising about 3.5%, and Chunghwa Picture Tubes (8299-TW) maintaining a slight rise.
