Driven by strong AI demand, PCB micro-drill bit and drilling service provider Chieh-Tien Technology (8021-TW) announced its latest financial results today (14). For the first half of 2026, Chieh-Tien achieved a net profit of NT$470 million, exceeding its full-year profit for 2025 and representing a 2.61-fold year-on-year increase, with earnings per share (EPS) reaching NT$3.25.

In the second quarter of 2026, Chieh-Tien reported revenue of NT$1.826 billion, with a gross margin of 41.78%, up 5.19 percentage points quarter-on-quarter and 12.34 percentage points year-on-year. Quarterly net profit reached NT$302 million, increasing 78.87% sequentially and 2.85 times year-on-year, with EPS at NT$2.08.

For the first half of 2026, total revenue was NT$3.166 billion, with a gross margin of 39.58%, up 11.84 percentage points year-on-year. Net profit for the period was NT$470 million, up 2.61 times year-on-year, with EPS at NT$3.25.

Chieh-Tien’s major clients are currently still in the capacity expansion phase and maintain a positive outlook on end-market demand, particularly for AI servers and high-performance computing applications, where demand continues to grow. Chieh-Tien’s own 2026 capacity expansion plan is also progressing steadily.

Meanwhile, Chieh-Tien is simultaneously planning new factories in Zhongli and Shanghai to meet future market demand growth and advance its global production footprint, continuously strengthening its supply capabilities for high-end PCB micro-drill bits and drilling services.
