Taiwanese PC brand Gigabyte (2376-TW) benefited from robust AI server shipments, achieving record-high profits for both the second quarter and the first half of the year. This week, buying pressure continued to build, with the stock price peaking at NT$402 on the 4th. It closed up NT$4 at NT$397.5, marking a strong weekly gain of 15.55% on a volume of 59,587 lots. Foreign investors have been net buyers for ten consecutive days, accumulating 36,000 lots.

In response to rising AI computing demand, Gigabyte's management stated that order visibility for the second half has significantly improved. With customers advancing infrastructure deployments and key component supply chains stabilizing, the company expects stronger revenue and operational growth in the second half compared to the first. As a result, Gigabyte has raised its full-year capital expenditure forecast from the initial NT$2.3–2.5 billion to NT$2.8–3.0 billion, aiming to aggressively expand server factory capacity and equipment.

Regarding industry trends and new platform positioning, analysts noted that despite Q2 being a traditional off-season for graphics cards and rising memory prices, Gigabyte experienced strong demand due to increased shipments of GB300 server racks, defying seasonal trends. The server segment's contribution to total revenue continues to rise. With NVIDIA preparing to launch its RTX SPARK supercomputer platform, Gigabyte plans to introduce new models in the first quarter of next year to capture market share, potentially injecting fresh momentum into the next wave of equipment upgrades.
